Former The Young and the Restless star Jason Canela is back at CBS Studios, but does that mean he's reprising his role as Arturo Rosales?
Canela wrapped up his time as Lola (Sasha Calle) and Rey's (Jordi Vilasuso) brother in the spring of 2019, when the CBS soap opera decided to write Arturo off the canvas. But the actor took to Instagram Stories on Friday, November 20, with a now-deleted photo of himself standing outside the studio where Y&R tapes -- which means he might be popping back into Genoa City relatively soon!
As fans know, Rey and Sharon (Sharon Case) are planning a New Year's Eve wedding, and it would make sense for Arturo to return to be his brother's best man, rather than having Nick (Joshua Morrow) carry out those duties. Of course, Canela could have returned to the CBS studios to film a non-soap role -- or even to film a role for Y&R's sister soap, The Bold and the Beautiful, which also films in the same building. Keep checking back to Soap Central for updates as they come!
Prior to joining Y&R, Canela starred alongside All My Children alum Mark Consuelos (ex-Mateo Santos) in the baseball series Pitch and in the Spanish series Donde Esta Elisa, Cosita Linda, and Ruta 35. Since leaving Y&R, he has been doing voiceover work for video games like Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Far Cry 6.
