Tyler Johnson announced via social media that his time on The Young and the Restless has come to an end.
"That's a wrap," the actor tweeted Monday evening.
When fans began to question what the cryptic tweet meant, the actor followed up with a thank you message to his fans.
"I’ve always been an optimist. Today isn’t an end, but a new beginning," Johnson wrote. "Thank you to everyone tuned in to watch Theo Vanderway -- it was all a blast. The future is bright. Love you all."

Johnson joined the cast of The Young and the Restless in Genoa City in June 2019 as Kyle Abbott’s troublemaking friend and social media influencer from New York City.
It is unclear at this time if Theo will be written out of the show... or if the character will be recast. Soap Central has reached out to Y&R for comment.
