Nicholas Alexander Chavez has proven that he's got game in the teen scene as General Hospital's Spencer Cassadine, and now the actor is taking those talents to Tubi.
The ad-supported streaming service has cast Chavez in Crushed, a coming-of-age comedy film that will be premiering this April. The film marks the Texas native's second acting credit of his career.
According to Variety, Crushed follows Kate (Bebe Wood), a romantic high school student who has a huge crush on her classmate Jason (Chavez). But as she unsuccessfully tries to get together with Jason during their senior class trip, things spiral out of control.
In addition to Wood and Chavez, Crushed will also star Brenna D'Amico, Valerie Azlynn, Kylee Russell, Lisa Yamada, Meg Wright, and Bailey Stender.
The Tubi original film was written by Heidi Lux and is being directed by Niki Koss.
