No one can turn down the mob, right? That's the sentiment that ESPN personality Stephen A. Smith shares of why he is returning to General Hospital. Sonny (Maurice Benard) needs Brick, y'all!
Smith took to Twitter to tease that he will soon be back in the shoes of the surveillance expert he has been playing on-again, off-again since 2016.
"Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Duty calls," he captioned two photos of himself back on set at GH. "The MOB needs me in Port Charles. Here I Come, @GeneralHospital! Here I come! Look out for my return coming very soon."
The official GH Twitter handle also teased Smith's return as Brick by sharing a photo of him posing with Sonny's on-screen wife, Laura Wright (Carly Corinthos), along with the cheeky caption, "Shhhhh. Don't tell Sonny."

Smith first appeared on GH as a television reporter back in 2007 and returned as Brick in April of 2016 after Benard pulled strings to get the New York native back on the show. He is best known as a sports reporter, appearing as a commentator on First Take, Sportscenter, and NBA Countdown for ESPN. He also hosts his own ESPN Radio show and frequently writes sports columns for websites and newspapers.
