General Hospital has found an actress to play the part of Patricia Spencer, the long-lost sister of Luke (Anthony Geary) and Bobbie (Jacklyn Zeman): horror film icon Dee Wallace.
Soap Opera Digest reports the ABC soap has cast the Kansas City native as the character, who at this point has been mentioned several times but has been completely unseen on-screen.
"It's such a brilliant choice," Zeman tells the magazine. "I'm a huge fan of her as an actress and as a teacher, as well. I absolutely love the woman!"
Wallace has worked as an author, teacher, dancer, and actress in film, television, and stage for over 40 years. Fans may recognize her from films like E.T., Cujo, Critters, The Hills Have Eyes, and Supernatural, as well as from television shows like Grimm, My Name Is Earl, and The New Lassie.
At this time, no information about Wallace's first GH airdate has been released.
