CBS' forthcoming drama Tommy will feature Days of our Lives alum Philip Anthony-Rodriguez (ex-Miguel Garcia) in a recurring role.

Congratulations are in order for Philip Anthony-Rodriguez (ex-Miguel Garcia, Days of our Lives), who has landed a recurring role in the upcoming CBS series Tommy.

The drama is set to center on Emmy-winner Edie Falco as Abigail "Tommy" Thomas, a former high-ranking NYPD officer who becomes the first female chief of police for Los Angeles. Anthony-Rodriguez will be stepping into the shoes of Rascal Santos, who is described as "a wary, smart and dedicated Vice Squad Commander" who works closely with Tommy when one of his operations might be compromised.

Anthony-Rodriguez got his start as an actor with the brief role of Bernardo Castro on ABC's The City in 1995. He went on to appear in a slew of major shows like 24, The Secret Life of an American Teenager, and Grimm before returning to daytime with the role of DAYS' Miguel in 2018, which earned him a 2019 Daytime Emmy Awards nomination in the Outstanding Guest Performer category.

Tommy comes from Paul Attanasio, the creator of Bull and Homicide: Life on the Street, and it is set to debut on Thursday, February 6. Check out a teaser trailer for the series below and let us know what you think in the Comments section at the end of the article.
