Days of our Lives viewers are over the moon with the return of Chandler Massey in the role of Lucas and Sami's son, Will Horton. And the fan-favorite actor is also thrilled that the powers that be reopened the door and allowed him to step back into the shoes of a character so close to his heart.
As fans may recall, Massey left the NBC drama series in 2014 to pursue his education. And now that he's finished, he couldn't think of a better place to be than back on DAYS.
"I don't have any illusions about becoming a movie star. I felt very happy at DAYS. I found my home," he told Soap Opera Digest. "I left because I wanted to learn, to round myself out and develop other disciplines. But my dream, after I was done, or near done [with school] was to come back."
