Another death rocked Days of our Lives this week as Shawn Christian's Dr. Daniel Jonas was ripped from the screen because of a fatal car accident. As the emotional storyline continues to play out over the course of the next few days, the actor took to social media to bid his fans a fond farewell.
"Your outpouring of love is deeply appreciated," he wrote on Twitter. "Ur messages have me speechless, humbled & grateful to have shared Dr. Jonas' life with u all."
As fans may recall, news of Christian's departure first broke back in June. He originated the role of Maggie's son back in 2008.
